STEVE GIORDANO BIO I have a B.A. in Secondary Education from the Yellow Springs, Ohio campus of Antioch College and an M.Ed. in Exceptional Children from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. At the university, I taught film classes for two quarters at Fairhaven College after working two years for an educational film company in San Francisco. For six years I was a producer/director in the public affairs department of KVOS-TV, Bellingham. Volunteer experience includes five years on the Mt. Baker Ski Patrol, 12 years with the Whatcom County Council on Aging (president for one year). I am Western Chapter Chair of the Society of American Travel Writers and a past officer of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association. My freelance writing has been full-time for 16 years. With my wife Lynn Rosen I write a monthly "On the Road" travel column for RV Life Magazine, and we are contributing editors of the annual guidebooks Skiing America & Canada and Ski Europe. My magazine articles have been carried in The Meeting Professional, DogGone and Alaska Airlines Magazine, plus I've written for the Great Outdoor Recreation Pages, SkiMaps.com and ESPN.com. He wrote most of the CD?ROM "Mt. Everest, Quest for the Summit of Dreams" and the book "Now Hiring! Ski Resort Jobs." He was a Mount Baker ski patroller for five years, and prefers snowboarding to skiing. He is a past officer of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association and is currently Western Chapter Chair of the Society of American Travel Writers. ======================= Lynn Rosen Bio:Emmy award-winning professional broadcaster, producer/director, writer and theater critic, Lynn Rosen-Giordano of KVOS TV in Bellingham, WA, also writes for a number of local, regional, national and international publications and guide books. She produces both print and broadcast features on local, regional, national and international travel destinations, personalities, locations, entertainments, restaurants and the arts. She earned her Emmy for a local children's program which she created, wrote, edited, produced and hosted on-camera for six years. She spent many years as well in news - as News Director and as writer/reporter/producer. She also in wrote and produced commercial productions. Many of her assignments were feature/travel oriented. She is currently engaged in on-air promotion, writing and marketing for KVOS TV and co-writes travel and snow sports features and guide book chapters with her husband, Steve Giordano, for regional publications and World Leisure guide books "Ski America and Canada" and "Ski Europe."
